The location, the side wall of a Citgo gas station, is significant given the references to oil, water, and commerce in this mural. Water plays an important role in the mural and in our experience. Talk of global warming, tropical storms, and the increasing scarcity of water has forced us to consider our relationship to water, as well as each other and the world.
